WHO WE ARE

We share the message of love with the poor and marginalized communities of Central Mexico by creating programs that focus on "feeding" each person's body, mind, and spirit.

Each week we feed over 400 adults through our Compassion Tour to the city dump and over 1,500 children across our 17 Community Centers of Hope.

Our English school, scholarship program, as well as kids orchestra and soccer teams give kids access to educational programs that otherwise would not be available to them.

WHAT WE DO

We build Community Centers of Hope for people in need. These C.C.H. also serve as feeding centers and churches, where kids and families can safely gather to eat, learn, and pray. We provide children with shoes, school supplies and weekly meals through our child sponsorship program for just $30 a month. Our English school helps adults and kids from poor communities land better jobs as so many require fluency in English.

We provide underprivileged children an opportunity to be part of a kid's orchestra and soccer team. Twice a week Volunteers and staff make 300 sandwiches and give them out to the communities working and living at the Mazatlan dump. After the trip to the dump we pass by neighborhoods in need and give out grocery bags filled with food and household necessities.

We invite you to learn more about what we do and to get involved in helping us make a difference in these communities.

COMPASSION TOUR

Out at the Mazatlán city dump, people are living off the garbage from other people. These people work at the dump every day looking for recyclables or other items to sell, items to make their homes better, and food to eat. We feel a huge responsibility to show the love of God to these people who work in the city dump by offering them a cold bottle of water, and a sandwich.
Please join us at the Church to prepare sandwiches.  After bottling water and wrapping the sandwiches you board a bus, travel to the dump and distribute the food, water, and a blessing to the workers.  We then visit some of our Community Centers of Hope to explore our ministries in these colonias.

VINEYARD CHILD SPONSORSHIP (VCS)

The Vineyard Child Sponsorship Program is administered through our Community Centers of Hope. It is designed to feed the whole child. It provides food for their bodies, minds and spirits. By feeding their mind, body, and spirit, we are helping to break the cycle of poverty that plagues these families.

COMMUNITY CENTERS OF HOPE

We have 20 Community Centers of Hope (CCH). Every week, volunteers from our English and Spanish churches prepare and distribute over 1600 meals to hungry children throughout the local Community Centers. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic our Community Centers are closed awaiting the green light to re-open. While the Community Centers remain closed our volunteers deliver donation bags full of groceries and essential items to families in need throughout the colonias.

ENGLISH CLASSES

In Mexico, those who are proficient in the English language land better jobs and have higher probability of being hired and making a better living for their families. In 2017 members of the Vineyard Ministries held the first English class for kids in the hope of making a bigger impact on their future and helping them break the cycle of poverty. Since then, and until Covid-19 hit, the English School was operating in two Community Centers of Hope, offering 3 or more levels of difficulty for children of all ages. Since Covid-19 we've had to shut down the Community Centers and therefore put a hold on the English classes. We do have a couple students taking classes online.  We are awaiting the green light to open the Community Centers and start up the English classes again.
